Training & Workforce Development
Equipping practitioners with the knowledge, tools, and skills to do this work well.
Services Overview
System transformation requires practitioners who are trained, supported, and equipped to work differently. DJCG offers a range of training and workforce development services for professionals working in juvenile justice, education, behavioral health, and community-based settings — with a consistent focus on trauma-informed practice, cultural responsiveness, and the real-world application of evidence-based tools.
The Problem
Training without follow-through produces awareness, not change. Too many organizations invest in one-time workshops that produce temporary motivation but no lasting shift in practice. Workforce development requires a more sustained, intentional approach — one that builds skills, challenges assumptions, and is connected to actual practice improvement.
Our Approach
DJCG designs and delivers training experiences that are rooted in real practice challenges, grounded in the DJTF framework, and built for retention and application — not just completion. We work with organizations to align training with their specific population, setting, and improvement goals.
